CONNECTED BEGINNINGS
Connected Beginnings aims to support Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander children in areas of high need, be well prepared for school by supporting Indigenous pregnant women, and Indigenous children from birth to school age. Over time it is anticipated the program will contribute to reducing the difference in school readiness and education outcomes between Indigenous and non-Indigenous children.
Collective ed. is an initiative involving Tasmanian schools, partner organisations, and a statewide support team working together to support six communities across Tasmania to help more young people complete year 12 education or equivalent.
Our goal is to see 90% of young people in these six school communities complete year 12 and transition into meaningful work, further education, or training beyond school.
